Hello, my name is Kristian.

I’m a Southern California based artist, and want to be 15th century explorer. I spend my time riding my bike, recording podcasts, and drawing.

I was born in San Diego, but I lived in Darien, Connecticut for the formative years of my life. From there, I moved to Orange County when I was 16. Moving in the middle of high school / my shy tendencies made high school pretty miserable. From the age of 16 to 19, I barely said a word to anyone and spent my time playing World of Warcraft with some friends I made online.

When I was done with High school I realized there was more to life than video games. I attended community college for the next couple of years trying out a bunch of things and eventually settled on art as a career path.

A couple of friends and I attended the Watts Atelier in San Diego together just to see what it was like. From there I began meeting people, and coming out of my shell.

Over time I began meeting more people, which led to doing other things. Eventually the excitement of stepping out into the world became more fulfilling than anything else.

My goal more than anything is to have freedom over my time. I believe success is non linear, and entirely subjective. What your version of success is may be completely different from somebody else’s. If you feel like that resonates with you, feel free to reach out.
